DE-LAP Well-Being Opportunities:

Happy Spring! Join us in specific new ways to implement well-being in the legal profession:

Traditional Kick-Off of Tri-County WALK: this was so successful last year that we are making it a tradition this year while giving you a purpose to pencil time for yourself. Kick Off May 12th more information to follow for each county walk.

ELEPHANT IN ROOM: Lawyers and Mental Health Concerns. What Can We Do Better for You?

In recent years, burnout has become a hot topic in the workplace. With long hours and growing demands, more and more lawyers, judges, and staff struggle to keep up.

The traditional solution has been simply to work harder and push through. Conversely in the post-covid-19 era, this is no longer sustainable. The Town Halls are designed for all of us to listen and learn on how we can create a workplace and profession that supports mental health, fitness and over-all well-being.

A series of two (2) virtual Town Hall meetings, hosted by DE-LAP, The DSBA Professional Guidance Committee and the DSBA Lawyer Assistance Committee, with a panel of mental health, business and legal professionals, to discuss and learn of problems and possible solutions voiced by you; the human capital of the legal profession. CLE credit available (Ethics @ $50.00 per credit through DSBA) otherwise if you do not want the credits; it is free to all Judges, lawyers, law students, paralegals, law office managers/administrators, et al.
